Visiting the website
When you visit, the web server processes technically necessary data (e.g. IP address, time, requested address, browser identifier) to deliver the pages and keep the service secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). KLXM Studio itself does not store IP addresses: for abuse protection (rate limiting, spam protection) it only derives keyed check values (HMAC), which are deleted after one day at the latest.
Cookies and local storage
No cookies are set for visitors. If you choose a light or dark colour scheme with the button in the header, the choice is stored only in your browser (localStorage) and is not sent to us. People who sign in to this website’s admin (editors) receive a technically necessary session cookie.
Fonts and video
All fonts are loaded from our own server – there is no connection to font services. The trailer is stored on this server and only loads when you play it; no third-party video service is embedded.
Map
The map on the contact page only loads after you click. Our server fetches the map data (OpenStreetMap via OpenFreeMap) and delivers it; your browser does not connect to the map service. Only if you choose “View on OpenStreetMap” or “Plan route” do you open openstreetmap.org in a new tab.
Contact form and email
If you write to us, we process your details (name, email address, optionally company, topic and message) to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for enquiries about services, otherwise (f)). Form data is encrypted on submission (libsodium) and can only be read with a key that is not stored on the server. Completed requests are deleted automatically 90 days after they were last handled, unless statutory retention obligations apply. Spam protection works without cookies and without external services.
AI features
No AI features and no AI chat for visitors are enabled on this website.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Please use the contact details above. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia.
